Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made

I was in denial...figured if I didn't sign up, he wouldn't leave. LOL

Wow! Glad you and your daughter were able to be there for when Stephen returned. Maning the rails is something I would love to see. Unless Katie ends up state-side, this won't be happening. Stephen certainly did get to see a lot - how wonderful!

Glad to hear the wedding plans are all coming along. Stephen will be home for the wedding, correct? How is the best man doing?

Hi Donna - Katie wrote and said she was able to touch bases with Stephen. She thinks he is traveling to more places than she is. Wondered if it was because he was in a smaller ship. Katie is in Australia right now.

How is your summer going. Had the chance to see Stephen lately? Hope you are doing well. I think about you as I think about my Mom. My Dad passed away a year ago the 31st of July. His bday was hard and they would have celebrated their 64th anniversary on the 1st. Will continue to keep you both in my prayers. Take care.

Hi Donna, How are you doing? How about Stephen? I know he had asked Katie to call when she arrived in Japan, but her phone cards aren't working and her cell phone service ended the day she flew out - april 25. She arrived in sasebo and they are going to fly her to the Philippines to meet her ship. Where is Stephen at? I know he texted Katie the day they 'gassed' him. Is he graduated and on his way?

Donna, Sorry, I haven't been on the Cheetahs page in a while. I stopped by today just to see what you gals were up to and read about the loss of your husband. I'm so very sorry. I can't imagine the pain. Please know that will pray each day that the power of Jesus' cross will give you strength and peace and that your husband will rejoice with Christ forever.
God Bless, Kathy

Hi Donna,

I posted the pics that Lafe sent me on my page if you want to take a look.

It was sort of a dull drum weekend since we didn't get to see Lafe. Instead of a visit with him, we cleaned out the garage.....That was exciting. I am going back to work part-time if my doc will approve it. I go back to her on the 24th of this month. Our next break is April 24th, so we may try to make arrangements to go see Lafe then. Check your calendar to see if that may work for you. We would love to visit with you too.

Hi Donna,

I finally received a few pics of our kids today. Lafe had my e-mail address wrong. Becca is gorgeous and it was nice to see both of them smiling. I sure hope you all get a chance to come to GC. Lafe said you were talking about driving. If you drive, be careful. Is little Donna in school yet? Hope to see you soon.

Dear Donna, Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. We lost a very close friend today too. While we mourn, I hope that also there can be a celebration of lives well lived too. Sincerely, A fellow Nuke mom
