wright socks, here i come!! live and learn... lol!! I've had enough blisters in the last month, that my feet are pretty much one big callous... that's probably a good thing!!! i thought spending over $100 on sneaks would cure all of my ailments......

in desperation, after 3 blisters from one 10 mile training walk, i bought a pair of "smartwool" brand socks... some people swear by them... for me, it felt too much like i was wearing slipper-socks...real cozy if i was just wearing them at nightti...

Gigi, about the socks... did she use two pairs at once, or changed halfway thru the day?? I know a lot of people double up, but w/ my "heel spur pads" I just dont think I could fit double socks in my sneaks! lol... Thanks...

About me:
My husband, Dustin, is home now after months of boot camp and A school. He is a reservist Master at Arms. We were high school sweethearts and have been married for 10 years. We are both 31 and have an 11 yr old son and an 8 yr old daughter. The children and I are so proud of him. He's an amazing husband and father, and now, an impressively well mannered sailor.

Hey Mrs. Shannon,
I havent talked to you in forever. I cant believe all that happened with Dustin, my goodness. I guess thats kind of gods way of giving him back to you for a while. LOL Dan finally classed up, we sort of found out where we are going but I havent started doing anything about it yet as you know how things go. Hopefully Ill see him again soon. =) The baby is getting big almost 15 pounds now. I put some pictures of him on my myspace. Give me a call sometime. I miss you!!!!!

Oh, I really WISH you would:)! We're going to have such a good time:)!
I wouldn't worry too much about the fundraising . . . I'm asking for $10/month for 6 months from my family and close friends (that's only $1/mile) and 10 cents/mile from my co-workers and others I know ($6/each) . . . Once I get close, I'm willing to pass the funds along to the others on the team who are farther from the goal - together we can do ANYTHING!!!!
There's also on-line message boards, and coaches available to help with other ideas . . . come on - you KNOW you want to . . . LOL:)! GIANT HUGS:)!

Shannon how are you?! I havent talked to u in what seems like forever. I am finally moving up to CT with Chris. The movers came and packed up all of our things today and I leave on Wednesday. It is crazy it seems like it took forever but now it all seems like its going super fast..

Hey Shannon how are you? How is your husband doing? Dominic is doing better and is getting ready to come home on a leave for 14 days. He is then going to be stationed in Norfolk VA. Close to home for us which is great...He graduated A school training on Halloween.
