Edwina: Several N4Ms are getting together this Saturday (July 18th) at the Corner Bakery on 83rd Ave, just south of Bell. It's listed on the "Events" page with the website/directions. If you can come please RSVP on the "Event" page so I know how many people to expect. I hope to see you there!

YAY Lafe on finishing A school! WOW, isn't that something, talking about marriage! How exciting, I would be a nervous mom too, Brian is dating around, but no one specific yet, thank goodness! he does love to ride, just like his dad! My husband left his motorcycle in Washington with Brian so they can ride together now and then. That would be great if you could come to Alaska! I am really enjoying the summer and hate to even think about going back to school. I have to have 10 years to be vested and I am at about 9 1/2, so I am seriously thinking about quitting soon! Not sure what I would do during the winter months though. I have'nt been on here is so long, how is Donna doing? Take Care

Hi Edwina,
I love this site! How fun to be able to talk about our kids with others. Devin is an EM as well! Devin however went to Sandra Day O'Connor HS. I too would very much like to meet up with some AZ moms. I work, but can do lunches and there is always the weekends.

Edwina,
I lived in Peoria until 2008 when I moved to Avondale. My children went to Peoria High School. Anyway, my son is in Power School now.

Brian called and said he talked to Lafe today. I couldn't get any info, it's like pulling teeth! I was glad they were able to talk I am sure it was good for Brian to reconnect. I have to ask, what are the red things in the desert picture? I love the puppies, very cute! You are feeling better? I moved to a new school this week, I really like it so far, can't wait for summer though!

I go back to work on 4/13. I got the dr. to complete FMLA paperwork for me so I could stay home a little while longer to take care of things. I still haven't gotten a lot done! I really couldn't afford to take the FMLA (it's without pay) but I just couldn't go back to work after only a week.

I saw the pictures. Rebecca showed them to me on her computer. I told her that we want good pictures not the goofy ones they took LOL! I'm just glad that they both seem happy. I had no idea that adopting Lafe for Thanksgiving would lead to dating.

I'm glad that you're well enough to go back to work. I sort of miss work but yet I dont. I wish I could stay home and not have to go back but unfortunately I cant pay bills if I don't go back.

Our spring break is April 6-10. I'll see what we can do about the weekend you are planning on going. Let Becca know so she can schedule the flights. She still afraid to talk to you, says she doesn't know what to say. Oh well what can I say, kids!!!!

I am jealous! 70-80 would be just right for me! Brian got a little bit of a reprieve on the school work he has to wait for more arrivals to make a complete class. This is great because the first assignment is to memorize 6 pages of stuff and be able to repeat it verbatum. UGH!

I hope things get worked out with your meds! I am still fighting something, a little cough that just won't go away, thought it was the crud from boot camp hanging on, but not sure now, going back to the dr tomorrow.

I am really happy that Brian is stationed in Washington, but I wouldn't have minded someplace warm that I could visit in the winter! Hahaha
