Hello! and welcome to N4Ms. Congratualtions on your son's graduation from Power School. Our son just completed Prototype at Ballston Spa and has already moved out of NY. He was in Saratoga Springs in a house with 3 other roommates. It was very convenient to the 'base' and to town. They were able to split expenses for the eight months they were there. Just a heads-up: School seems to be running behind in BS. It can cause a fair amount of frustration for you and your son. It was longer for the class ahead of my son so I guess he was luckier. Your posted pictures are beautiful. Best wishes to you all.

That last comment was supposed to say we went to NY with him and saw the area!

Elaine, you are more than welcome. Information is one of the blessings of this site. My ex and I went with our son when he left Goose Creek so I got to see how beautiful the area is and where he is living on base. Has your son done any on line searching for housing? Is there an opening in base housing for him. There are some sites for looking if he or his wife want to take a look in this thread. (I don't want to take the time to put them in here an link - already done in this thread.)
By the way, I am from Denver. My dad was AF stationed at Lowrey AFB when I was born (at Fitzsimmons Army Hospital). Still have my mom's family in the Denver area. We lived in Arvada my high school years.
