- About me:
- I'm a wife for 22 years to my husband, Rich and we have two beautiful children, Frank and Julie. We have two family pets Rex, a Colby Pit Bull Terrier and Lemmiwinks, a Gerbil. I work at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy in Gainesville, FL. I have been working at UF going on 19 years. I enjoy barefoot skiing and water skiing with the family.

How's he like the ship? I am glad he's on the east coast closer to you----same goes for Michael--glad he's on the west coast---He was home on leave end of July--but I am not sure when I'll see him--we were going to go up there, but the flights were hard to get-
The ship will be going out again soon (just for a little bit)
I was in a car accident---messed up my shoulder-have to have phys therapy and am off work. The car is a mess--glad I was in my big SUV!

- hey liz. i just wanted to say that i met your son today when i was on the ship seeing my husband. well i didnt really meet him.. he knows my husband and he came up was was talking with us for awhile and i reconized his name on his pants and remembered your name on here. anyways.. he is a very nice guy..and funny!

I bet it was good to see your son on leave. I would encourage you to go over to the Bataan group and add a post to the discussion on "about your Sailor". I'm pretty sure there's another mom on the group who's son is also an ABH.
As for housing, there may be a change in the works. But for now, and since my son's been on the ship, unless a Sailor is married or E5 or above they live on the ship - period. But there is a new program in place that is supposed to change this, but to-date the ship command has not participated. But that *may* be starting to change. As I get more definitive info I'll post to the group.
What paygrade (E1, E2, etc) is your son? That may factor into who can/can't do the new program.

Michael and Frank have beenhanging out together......when I talked to Michale today he said him and Boe were at the Mall.
Michael said he is supposed to graduate this Wed. Is Frank doing the same? Did he get a duty station assignment yet?

That is close to you! Dan jsut got his address two days ago. So I mailed his phone yesterday and changed our family plan to unlimited tex messaging! he is supposed to have it by next Wednesday- we will see- Matt my little guy turned 11 today- he really missed Dan:( I did too. Well gotta get to bed I'm taking a CCW class tomorrow. Nite.:)
