Yes i agree my son got sick in boot camp and got his wisdom teeth out,but he did well and graduated sep.3rd.

The only thing you need for graduation is the parking pass. Make sure your sailor list everyone that wants to attend the graduation.I had seven come and we all got in.Some have to wait but should be able to go in.Enjoy that special time .

parking pass (Help)

Did anyone have a problem with the web site that we are suppose download our parking pass,it said can not be found do i have the right web site it's wwwl.netc.navy.mil/nstc/rtcgl/index.asp. I even tried to leave the l after th w's?? Help!!!

We got our phone call after 3 1/2 weeks. It was sooo nice to hear his voice.We only talked to him for about ten short minutes,because his first calling card didn't work so he waisted time going to buy anotherone.He sounds good and likes it there his devision got promoted to E2(not sure what it means but its good)he still has a cold but it doesn't stop him. He says that he loves getting mail.

My son is 18 also and I hoipe to get a letter from him today. Have you made your arrangements for graduation? We have only about 1 month to go. CANT WAIT.

Yes, It was wonderful. He of course listed 4 as allowed but my Son in law went with us. He had to wait in the Hall until 9:00 and was then allowed in to the ceremony.

We drove into downtown Chicago to the Navy Pier which was amazing. The traffic however due to construction can be horrific.. I would suggest you buy a weekend trolley pass for $5, you can park a few blocks away from the Navy Lodge where we stayed and take the trolley downtown which would be much quicker than driving. We saw the Cirque Shanghai show it was awesome and there is so much to do there. We had planned to go back on Saturday but my son just wanted to spend time with his wife so the rest of us went bowling.. If you have3 a portable GPS, bring it with you. There are things to do in the Great Lakes area without having to go downtown...
