I'm in SD right now...Michael and I went to the JOP and got married this last Friday. We are still planning a wedding for November. I helped him drive his truck down and then we went apartment shopping. I have to leave to go back home...
Does anyone know where a sailor keeps his vehicle if he lives on the ship?

I'm new to this group. My fiance, Michael is now on the USS Boxer. He graduated A School in Pensacola, FL a couple of weeks ago.

Just thought I'd give an update...Michael and I have finally narrowed down a date for the wedding: it looks like November 29, provided the Navy lets him come home..lol

No worries I figured you were busy, and I was right. You have your hands full. Do you think you'll move down to San Diego once you are married?? Lots of decisions to make. Kyle is good, he'll find out next week where he'll be stationed before or after he goes to C school. Anxious to see him of course, I still haven't seen him since PIR. He bought a truck out there so as it stands now the plan is to fly out to see him at the end of Aug and drive back with him to home or his new base and fly home from there. You know how it goes, today's plans can be tomorrow's changes.

Don't apologize honey. I certainly understand. What are you studying? Cody took his test last week and got Ship's Company, Japan, on the USS George Washington... he's really excited. I'm a little sad... it's pretty far but I guess I could always plan a trip!!!
Sorry you didn't get to spend the 4th with your honey but I'm sure you'll make up for it when you see him! WHen does he head to San Diego? How far away are you? Will you move once he gets there?

- Im so glad you had an opportunity to go. I'm still hoping to be able to go see Kyle. The humidity has been the biggest adjustment for Kyle..my poor Cali boy. :) Michael is going to love San Diego. I just noticed that you now have yourself as fiance of Michael...congratulations!!!!

- Hi Erin! Did Michael want squadron or did he want to be able to live with you? I guess that makes a real difference for you guys. SInce he's single (even though he tells me of a certain 26 year old he's "talking to!!") Cody will probably be happy in any position but I know he mentioned squadron or even possibly exploring dive school.
Are you going to see Michale for the weekend? That would certainly make for soem fireworks, huh? :-)

Jason is doing good, he's in Meridian right now for school. Overall he is enjoying it and should be finishing up within the next 6 wks, but I've heard there's a hold on orders so he told me to expect him to be there for 3-4 more months. But who knows? I'm spending this weekend with him and can't wait!!!! I hope you're doing well, stay in touch!

Does Michael know what he will do once he graduates? Squadron? Ship's Company? Did he get to pick his first duty station? This is all so new to me! LOL
Cody is finishing ATT classes today or tomorrow and hopes to be classing up next week. Keep your fingers crossed! We don't know how long he'll be there so it's hard to make any plans for the summer.
