MY SWEETIE (SEDDRICK) LEFT FOR BOOT CAMP ON THE 29TH OF APRIL.. I MISS HIM SO MUCH. HE WILL BE GRADUATING ON THE 26TH OF JUNE. I'M SO EXCITED!!!!

We are doing really good although im a little upset that he gets deployed next month for SIX months. But as for US..we are GREAT! I miss all of you so much! How have you been? Hows that wedding coming along?

Im good love. I havent been on much because Matt doesnt want me on here. Nothing against anyone but he said it fills my head with hopes and dreams and wrong information. So i stay off of here and just listen to what info he gives me. I hope all is well with everyone. Ill get on every once in a while to see how things are going. Matt is doing great. I uploaded some new pics of him. mmm he looks so good in camis lol. We're planning on getting married next October but arent for sure yet. Right now im trying to get him straightened up FINANCIAL wise. We talk every night it seems. Which is a plus because i remember how hard it was NOT talking to him. He hates the watches because he always gets stuck on 4am-6am and he hates it. But I hope al is well with Seddrick and you. Talk to you later hun!

my son was in div 230 and graduated 6/26/09, i know your week end went as fast as mine . he is also in great lakes for A school for corpsman and i have many of your same questions. about liberty over july 4. i would love to come back and be with hime for holiday week end . or at least get a call from my son to see what is going on next. if i hear anything i will let you know.

FYI - The other site does not have people on all the time. At first you will experience withdrawal from your PIR grp. People do come on though and eventually answer your question (lol). There are some young girls who have BFs in school also that started after my son. I know they have info as they wanted to come the last we and this coming we. I do not know how they made out. If you look them up you can then ask them for info.

I do not know where the phones are. I will ask my son later. My son usually texts me or occasionally calls. After class my son goes to the gym with buddies and they eat dinner (chow) and then come back and study - shower - etc. School will be intense because they learn so much in little time. Did you go to that site I told you - A School? Look up on top and read the Phases. Good luck with seeing him - I hope you do.

He is moving today - he is probably their getting settled in. He will get a briefing today and tomorrow and then school is closed until next wk. They may have him take one day accounting tomorrow or wait till next wk. Either way he should be told whether or not he could leave and how to go about it. Otherwise than I would look into being there on those two days and meeting up with on base. Remember no PDA or they take away points or something. I know of someone who that happened to actually.

Felecia - Congratulations - if he does not have a phone I hope he asks to use someones. They are allowed to walk around the base. Pretty cool after all they have been through - a lot of freedom. There is a lot on base to do.

felicia - Have you talked to him? He should know by now. He is over in the school right? They will be free from Wed eve until sun night. Whether or not he can leave base if he is not allowed leave I do not know. I do know they are having fireworks and public is allowed on 3rd and 4th. One of the wives there had a website to look at. On PIR 5/15 alumni go back about 2 or 3 or maybe more by now and she posted website for GL and is on some committee. You can feel free to ask her questions - her husband is in school in GL not Corpsman. She moved a few weeks ago to GL.

Wow! Congrats on your proposal! That sounds like you had a wonderful weekend. Glad the shuttle worked out for ya also. Did I read the prior comment correctly? Your sweetie will be a corpsman? My son is in A school and just started his class last Thursday..he's in Great Lakes until October. Well..keep in touch!

Our driver gave us his cell fon..that way he was same one to pick us up..and we could take our time at the NEX etc...he actually had us walk across the street to the church cuz was just easier for him!...did you use them??
