About me:
Proud Momma!
I have had my share of battles in the past 6 years, the war against Breast Cancer! (Just when you think it's gone forever, it comes back with a vengeance-did with me and I am only 45)
It helps me to know that my baby girl is strong and smart and in the Navy, almost! She says she gets her strength from me, how I have gone thru all my health issues like nothing is wrong, smile and worry about everyone else.
Just for the record, I have had a hysterectomy, Breast Cancer-left mastectomy-chemo, back surgery, MS, Car accident-broken ribs and the the evil return of Metastatic Breast Cancer in most of my bones and joints-5 weeks in hospital-chemo-radiation-let's see what else, I think that is it. God doesn't give us more than we can handle. Ok God, I think you made your point.
I am so proud of Gerika! She is a very unique and awesome human being.
I am here to support or represent my:
Son/Daughter
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
In the NROTC program
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Don't take a phone call for granted.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
