"Ladies...thank you all for your friendship and listening ear...I haven't been on for quite some time due to the fact that my children's father decided against remaining part of our family upon entering the navy.
"Congrats Corie...just be sure he truly means it. I'm sorry to say it but some guys go into the navy, as mine did, and they find themselves confused, with so many options and challenges. Mine also didn't communicate often, then spoke of…"
"Nicole congrats his finishing up. On the other hand I do understand about those games they play - keep hope alive. If it's meant to be then it will. If not then, no worries, you seem to have good, solid plans ahead of you - focus on that. And I…"
"Yeah, what Angie said about his pay in Japan is right. I was there a good long while and I had a husband paying child support, so I have a couple more thoughts.
His paygrade may have gone up one when he graduated from A school. And he is getting…"

"I would still recommend you get a court order, he can go back on his word anytime.
You will need to ask him about his pay as his base pay will be the same no matter what. He will receive COLA (Cost of living allowance) when overseas. He could have…"

"My husband had a son without being married. He was on the page two, and had an ID card. His mother could take him on base with that card and shop at the NEX and the commissary. The commissary has to be indicated on the card though. Sometimes it…"
Hi GirlfriendRN, Welcome aboard N4Ms. Looking at the groups you have joined, it sounds like your sailor is at GL in bc. My son was there almost 4 yrs. ago. Then he decided to learn about nuclear power and submarines. He just got his first deployment recently He called a while back and said, "Hi mom. I'm in S. Korea." He was almost laughing. He sounded so happy and confident. It helped me. I sure miss him though, even if he is older than most of the ones just joining the Navy. Blessings,
