Hi GirlfriendRN, Welcome aboard N4Ms. Looking at the groups you have joined, it sounds like your sailor is at GL in bc. My son was there almost 4 yrs. ago. Then he decided to learn about nuclear power and submarines. He just got his first deployment recently He called a while back and said, "Hi mom. I'm in S. Korea." He was almost laughing. He sounded so happy and confident. It helped me. I sure miss him though, even if he is older than most of the ones just joining the Navy. Blessings,

Welcome to N4M’s. This site is full of information, support and encouragement. Please join the group http://www.navyformoms.com/group/bootcampmoms , (just point and click on the http address) there you will find new N4M’S as well as more seasoned N4M’s to guide you along. My son graduated boot camp Jan 29, 2010 and is now stationed in Sicily Italy as an IT.

If your profile or profile name contains last name (even if it is different from your rct/sailor)your rct/sailors first name or your e -mail address, I recommend that you change it for the safety of your sailor. Remember, this is a public site and anyone can become a member and read comments posted here.

Be wary of who you friend…before you accept a friend go to their page and see how active they are, the comments left, groups they’ve joined. If they have a lot of friends but no groups, no comments, click ignore and DO NOT FRIEND THEM…it is likely they are spammers, e-mail address harvesting
