Hi, Heidi. Your pics are great! I hope you've heard from your baby today! It's a little scary at first, but the first deployment is full of surprises, new learnings, adventure, frustration, you name it! This is my son's second deployment and the difference when he left was astounding! He was almost bouncing off the walls. He just couldn't wait. This is like when we were pregnant and couldn't wait for them to be born. They train and prepare for so long and finally they deploy! He'll be fine and when he comes back, if you can be in Bremerton, I'll catch up with you there! God Bless. If you get lonely or worried, drop me a line.

Hi Heidi....love your pics! Your son is very cute! I know you miss him and were so glad to hear from him. I got a short email and my son said he'd call today....but still no call. I know the lines are long.... Hope you are doing okay. What does your son do on the Stennis? My son is with the Aircrew.

Heidi-that is ok..I don't reconize the name but I will keep my ear open.. I did finally get an email today..He said they were in some bad weather and had to work all day. He said he was sitting final control last night from about 8 to 1 in the morning and we had a problem with an F18 and had to divert him.. not sure what he meant by that..I hope things are better for them today..I don't hear from him like I use to ..I feel like he has been gone forever. So any news from your son? How does he like it.. My son also said that some of the ship mates got sick on the ship..The waters was rough.

Hi Heidi. My daughter is an AO on the ship. She's been in Bremerton since November. She graduated high school in June and left 2 days later for boot camp.

Heidi I'm not sure as I am waiting also..I'm am use to getting a call or at least an email. I missed his call the day they left..That tore me up!!! Hope he was ok with it! I have only receive one email from him very brief..He says they are working long hours and not much sleep.. I hope we hear soon. I miss him so much...
