Hi Karen: How are you doing this week? We got out first rain of the 'season'. We usually have an indian summer and it get's hot for a couple of weeks. I hope that holds off and we have more cooler weather for a while. I'm enjoying volunteering. It is getting me out of the house. We sent our 15 year old Miss Muppet to heaven this week. It has been hard. I miss her so much. She had organ failure. Anyway, my special friend - I just wanted you to know that I was thinking of you. My angel blessings, Susan

Hi Karen: I am just back from a women's retreat with some of the women in our church. It is nice to get some quiet time away and re-focus. Things are gearing up for our first fall storm. It is due, and will be nice to have the rain. I have to sign up with the only temp agency that serves our community today to see what they have. This should be interesting. When I went in last week they told me that they didn't have any jobs. I have to think positively and that something will come that will take care of our needs. I was reminded this weekend that relationships are often taken for granted - and I wanted you to know that while that is probably what is happening for you - cherrish those that you have close, and that you are very special to many folks - especially me. Have a great day.~s~

I am glad that you have. Try every option available and something will come. I'll keep praying. So, while we pray about your sailor - how are you otherwise?

Well, my friend you have to do what is best for you, and your heart. I started a journal to him. But then I got so frustraited that I quit. I will keep praying for both of you.

Hi Karen: Well, I would suggest that you contact Fleet & Family Services at Bremerton/Bangor/Kitsap. Send an e-mail so that you have a paper trail. I would keep trying and encourage you to. I learned to ask for suggestions as to how to accomplish getting the information - what would you suggest and who would you suggest I contact? That may prove to be very helpful. Here is some information that I have - you may already have it - the Chaplains for Naval Base Kitsap: 396-6005; Fleet & Family Center 396-4115. They should be able to help you more. It has been over a couple of weeks. at least your heart can rest knowing that you are doing all that you can. I am sorry that I don't have e-mail's. If you can call - at least that is a start. Hang in there. I'll keep looking through my stuff to see if I have anything else. I do have Linda Moore who is on the site - she was one of the Ombudsman. I'll try to find that info for you too. My angel blessings and Navy Mom Hugs~Susan

Hi Karen; You have been on my heart. I can identify with you so much. Do you have a contact? Possibly through the recruiter - of chaplin's office? Can you bug them at all? Please know that you are in my prayers (and so is he). My angel blessings, Susan

Hi Karen: Thanks for letting me know. You are indeed in my prayers. If you are interested, I'll share my little story with you. Send me a PM (private message) to my in box or here is my home e (thekopps@sbcglobal.net) and am happy to share with you - only to help ease your heart. Being a Mom if the hardest thing I've ever done. If I can help ease your heart I'm glad to be here with you. ~Susan

Hynyhare: How are you doing? You have been in my prayers, and I hope that things are progressing for you and your sailor. I see that you got a picture, and hope that it is recent. My angel blessings, Susan

Hunyhare,
Got your request - welcome to the Bangor/Bremerton/Kitsap Sailors and Family group. There are several fantastic moms and a dad on this group that live in the area and others like myself that have our sailors stationed there. You can learn some great info about the area from these folks.
I will post your message on the group page - hope someone can help you out.
Again, Welcome Aboard.
Anna
