Just wanted to say thanks for showing Dillon a good time. I hear that Jarid is leaving after Labor Day. VA Beach huh? Well I know that he will be glad to get out of Penn. I was hoping that he was going to get to come home with Dillon next weekend. Dillon said that they are going to just relax, ride horses, and eat some good home cooking. ( haha I don't know how good) Anyway will talk later. Keep me posted on Jarid.

I think that they are going to try to come to my house for the labor day weekend. That is if Dillon can get a duty swap. I hope that yall have fun. I know Dillon was telling me that Jarid will find out soon where he is going to be stationed at. He said that he thought that he was going to the fleet.. but I could be mistaken. Talked to Dillon today and he said that some of them went to Panama City for the weekend. It sounds like they are having fun. Dillon said that it is really nice there. He is really ready to come home for a visit. I think that him and this guy named Qubin are going to try to come for the Labor Day weekend. When is Jarid going to come home. I know that you are ready. I know that I am. Dillon told me today that he can't wait to come. He said that he wants some home cooking and to relax on the sofa...HA! HA! I guess when they are gone they realize just how good home is.... Hope that you and your family are doing well. Talk soon.

Yea they like H O O T E R S!!! Can't imagine why! I beleive that is where most of Dillon's money goes....lol... Anyway, no Dillon does not have his car. When he came home on the 4th he rented a car. He does have a car and motorcycle (which I hate) but he figures that if gets stationed overseas then he will have to bring it back here. He doesn't want any part of driving that far anymore...He kinda wanted to take his motorcycle down there but I hope that I have talked him out of it. How is Jarid liking the Navy? Is he settling in? As for Dillon I think he likes it pretty good.. he has his days... he told me the other day that it was like being in jail...then he called later and said that he was just having a bad day. I think that when they get on with the schooling and stuff it will be much better. How long is Jarid's school? Dillon told me that if they get to start in Sept. then he will be home for Christmas or there about.... long time.... Well, do you have other children? I have another son that is 16. His name is Chris. He is my baseball player. He keeps me busy. Well I'll let you go for now.

Yea, I talked to Dillon this morning. He said that Jarid is a really cool guy. They help eachother out alot. Dillon got to come home for the weekend of the 4th. He drove. He said that he would never drive again that far. It is about 12 to 13 hrs to our house. I told him that I will try to get him a flight around his birthday. Sept. 30th. It is so great how they make friends.. its also great for the parents like this as well. I was just looking at your pictures and already feel like I know your family. Has Jarid gotten a tatoo yet? I was really shocked with Dillon. He got one. I hope that he doesn't get anymore. He said that alot of them get more than what he got. It is only one and tastefully done. What could I say he is grown. So, he might get to go with Jarid for a visit? I'm sure that would be nice. I think that they just like the home cooking and the time away from the base. Your know "Family" time. Well I just keep rattling on. Look forward to talking agin soon. Have a great day.

That is great! Dillon said that he got a new roommate. He said that he was nice. Is your son in the AS program? If he is well there seems like there is a long wait until they start there actual training. Dillon has been there since 6/11 and he is ready to get on with the program.... He just got assigned watch / guard duty at night so that will give him longer leave for the weekend. He was glad of that. So where are yall from? We are from SC. Dillon says that there are a group of guys that hang out on the weekends they go to the public beach, Hooters etc. When is the last time you got to see your son? I'm looking forward to seeing Dillon. I'm hoping that I can fly him home in Sept. for a weekend for his birthday I look forward to hearing from you again soon.
