We are down state--actually about 20 miles from the St. Louis Arch. It's nice living in a small town but by the big city. I grew up in Indianapolis.

thanks for asking, Todd is basically treading water and waiting in ship 5. His case has gone congressional and we are waiting to see what happens with the appeal. I am glad you son is back and doing so well. That is great. Hopefully we will have good news too.

Hey, my hubby also said that if they do well he will get to call again next week-how exciting? But, he did tell me they get in trouble sometimes and not to get my hopes up LOL b/c they may lose the priviledge LOL but we can pray now! JLK - what did you mean about the adopt a sailor form? I see you mention it for Christmas, is there the same for Thanksgiving - how did you find out about it? I'm in Illinois too, but have not gotten a call from my daughter yet - would like to know if we'll be able to get her for Thanksgiving?... thanks!

Hi - all I know for sure is that they called him aside, asked "do you know Kendra Sue xxx" and he said "yes" and they said something like "is she on the Navy4Moms site" and he said "yes" and they said "she posted a picture of you" - but I haven't had another letter from him yet to find out of it was more than that, or just letting him know to let us know that they're watching. I've gone back over every post that I had put up so far, and I couldn't find anything that I said negative, so I'm *hoping* that it was just notification and that he didn't get treated differently because of it. Then another mom posted that the RDC told her recruit to "tell us hi" when he was writing home, so it's pretty clear that they're watching this site, and that they've (correctly) identified which moms go with which recruits.
