How are you doing? It was very nice to meet you and your husband on Thursday night. I am only sorry it all went so quickly. I had to leave Friday afternoon, but loved every minute I had with Michael. He left yesterday for Groton, CT but I have not heard from him. What happens now? We did not make any arrangements for communication and I just don't know when to expect another call. Anyway, let's keep up the communication.

I was so glad to hear from you! :) It's a blessing to hear that you guys made it back safely.......I think Corey is happy that his A school is in GL it is close to home. I know that I am glad that it is there, haha....Siera is going to love Pensacola, a good portion of my family live in Pace, which is just north of Pensacola. There are lots of things to see and do there, if she gets the time. Just think, you can drive there in no time.
Thanks for the info, I just wasn't sure of their names. Have you had a chance to talk to any of the other mom's that were there? I would love to stay intouch with you and learn of all of Siera's progress. I know she is going to do Great. :)Karen

Had a great time meeting everyone at Flannigan's Thursday night. You have a great family. Hope that everything went well for you guys over the weekend. We had such a great time, just wish it could have been longer.... How was your trip home? I hope good. .....We tried to spend every waking moment that we could with Corey Friday and Saturday because he had duty Sunday mornin. After he was done with that he was able to call us and let us know that we could come get him. We spent most of the mornin with him and then decided that we should get on the road do to the weather conditions. He will start his A-school on Wednesday there at Great Lakes. When does Siera leave for A-school? ....Do you remember the two ladies sitting next to me at Flanagin's? I was wanting to contact them but I could not remember their names for sure. Did you happen to remember them?

- Just checked the mail and I didn't have anything either....I guess no news is better than bad news as the old saying goes. We (myself,my daughter and Corey's girlfriend) will be staying at the Holiday Inn Express which is about 7 miles away from the base. We live in Chatham, IL, just south of Springfield. I will be driving up that morining. It should only take about 3 1/2 hours to get there so we will be there pretty early. That way I can learn some of the area. If or when I hear from Corey I will be glad to let you know all that I may have learned from him. Oh, let me know if you should hear from Seira. :)

Battleships tonight you say. I will be praying for ALL of them. I would have thought they would have done it last week. Im glad to hear that you will be at the Meet and Greet on Thur. night I look forward to meeting you. Are you staying close to the base?

Its nice to meet you. Have you heard from your daughter lately? The last letter that I had gotten from my son Corey was about 2 weeks ago and it was very short. I am so excited to see him. Will you be attending the Meet and Greet the night before? My husband and I are originally from Florida. My husband is from Lake City and we both have family in Pensacola.
