I can't find the site to vote on, the link just took me to the newsfeed on facebook. Do we need to join a group? I'd be happy to vote if I could figure it out, and its prob. really simple too huh?

an example of things I have done before..... sent big boxes of holiday candies or granola bars or things like that to the division for their office. Usually sent a card along with the box and they loved it.

Yeah, this mom would tell him to go to medical. Seems like it should have cleared up by now. They hate to go to medical! I don't know whether they think it makes them looks like babies or what, but when something isn't right they are supposed to go.…

Yes, he said it wasn't all that bad, and yeah it hurt for about 15 min. or so, but he is this tough kid who wouldn't break if it killed him. They did take a few photos and let me tell you, I would never have been able to go through it!

Hi Jackie,
I am glad that you had a great time in AZ. And the weather was nice. We had rain yesterday and today again. Supposed to be nice tomorrow. We are actually going to be with the DEP group, so that will be extra fun to meet some new sailors and their parents.
And believe me, I know how hard it is to fit in other people on a visit to family. I am from Milwaukee and it is non-stop from the time I get there.

Hi Jackie,

The Boxer is currently in San Diego but is scheduled to deploy VERY soon. :(
I worry too much some moments but hopefully it will get better. Nice to chat with you. Have a good day! Bernadette

Hi Jackie,
Ben started out as a brown shirt and got switched to a green shirt, He offered us one-he makes the stencils for the planes, shirt whatever else they need lettering for. He likes that better than the line shack.
This was the 1st year we didn't see Ben for Christmas, since he was born. It felt kind of odd. But he has to make his own way, so I understood where he was coming from.
thanks for the tips about Times Square. He said he was more worried about pick pockets, so I will pass that along.
If you are in the Tucson area around 1-24, the Tucson moms are having a get together that day. We'd love to meet you! If not, contact me anyway. Maybe we could meet-after you get to spend time with your sailor and family first!
I hope it is warmer by the time you get here. It was 29 when we got up today.

What a handsome son you have! Yes, it is a small world, but that wasn't my husband. That would've been something.
did you get to see your son for Christmas? Mine stayed in Virginia Beach and is going to Albany, NY today to see a buddy. He is planning to be in Times Square on NY eve. I'm alittle nervous about that.

Hi Jackie! The flannel sheets and quilt are a great idea. Nick said he's learned to wear sweats and bundle up to sleep. I'm not sure I understand why they can't have where they sleep a comfortable temperature but I'm sure there's some reason. Nick mentioned to me he was working in some sort of boiler room (I think). Not exactly sure what that means or what he's doing.

Jackie, that is so cool that our sons know each other! I'll tell John to bring him over for dinner some night. I didn't go on the Tiger Cruise, but my husband did. He had a blast! My daughter and I plan on doing the next one, at least the Hawaii to San Diego leg.
