When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
To trust God, to Pray Daily and to be supportive in his decision making. After all this is his future. And to remember he was A Solider 4 the Lord b4 he became a Navy Salior.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Dear Jennifer,
How have you beeen? It's been awhile since we last wrote. I just accepted you as friend.
I was looking at your pictures, what gorgeous grandchilderen you have! God bless them!
At those young ages, I can just eat them up, they're so precious!

I'm doing good. I'm having ear surgery on Dec 17, I can't wait until that's behind me! HAHA! The on Dec 28, I'm going down to Virginia to be with my daughter Kim for a few weeks. She's pregnant. I'm deliriuos over this, my first grand baby. The due date is
Jan 2. I can't wait to hold him. According to the sonogram, we're expecting a boy.

I don't really have much faith on sonograms though. For all we know, the technician could have mistook fingers! HAHA! I don't care, I just keep my grandbaby every day in prayer for health and being normal. Whatever God wants, it's a blessing.

You have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Stay well and God bless you and your beautiful family.
Take care and God bless,
Love,
Barbara

Jennifer, tomorrow I have orientation at PETSMART! It is all good, if this is where the Lord wants me to be at this time in my life. Right? It is fairly close to home, and especially that is good for me because I dont see too well driving at night, if I have to work evenings and it does get dark early. Take care. Hi Jennifer, how are you today? Hope you had a good weekend, filled with many great jesus moments! I guess the Lord has in mind for me to be a PETSMART employee. I had to go take a pre-employment drug test today this morning. On Saturday I had a second interview and that manager also liked me alot, and wanted to know how soon can I start. He also asked me if I would be interested in learning dog grooming, as they pay to school and certify you, and it is more money. So, I am thankful for this opportunity and I'll give it my best shot. I asked them if on Sunday they could schedule me after 12noon, so that I can go to church, they said, not a problem. I was happy about that, cuz I really, really need and enjoy worship service on Sunday mornings. Peace be with you sister, Lots of love to you, Doug's Mom (Robin, that's my name)

Hi Jennifer, Raining today. Think I am going to bake today. Is that a far commute to the Carol Stream Post Office for you from Oak Park? I used to travel alot. Worked for 12 years as a flight attendant for ATA Airlines. Sadly, 4/3/2008, they filed chapter 11 bankruptcy and ceased all operations. At ATA, we also did Military flying for the government, so I did alot of work woth all branches of our military and have been all over the world and have been at so many military bases as well. So, I have had the honor to serve our military men and women. Since that day, I have been unemployed, and cant seem to find a job. I am praying that this unemployment extension in the senate goes thru already they have been dragging their feet since Sept, all political games, because next week is my last check. I fill out apps., go to stores, go on interviews, and nothing. No airlines are really hiring now either. I sent and update my resume with various airlines regularly. I dont know what the Lord has in store for me. I went on an interview last Saturday to PETSMART. I still am tithing and giving. So, I do appreciate you friendship, all the precious visuals you post, they sure touch my heart and bring me peace when it seems that I need it. Life is tough. I cant imagine living without the Lord. I know there are people worse off. Even minimum wage here in the US is more that what 70% of the world makes. I do have a husband, he has a job, but we have grown apart. He is a non-believer and it is hard to respect him when his ways are so anti the bible. Mistake #1, that is the consequences of marrying someone who doesnt love Jesus, my own bad choice. I ponder it all, and wonder what to do.....

Jennifer, thank you for the rose! That was too kind. very much appreciated though. And mostly your friendship is very much appreciated. Which I consider it being blessed by God having you as a friend in my life. Your son sounds like a beautiful young man of God. What a testament to you being a devoted christian mom! What a beautiful and inspirational story, feeding the hungry in uniform! Nov. 14 my youngest daughter is going to Chicago around the train station with friends and they are planning to spend 3 days living among the homeless with $10 only to live on for 3 days. They want to minister to the homeless, and win lives for the Lord. It is so rewarding to see our children living (or at least trying their best) to live a spirit filled life. My navy son is home now too. After Thanksgiving he goes to the west coast and then to Gulfport, and then home for Christmas and he deploys in January. Jennifer thanks again, you have filled my heart with joy, and I hold you in my heart. A big hug to you! Jesus loves you, and I do too!
