- About me:
- I am married to a wonderful man named Mike. Together we have 4 children. My oldest is my son Justin who joined the NAVY in July and PIR'd on 3/13/09. He is currently in Pensacola for A-School. My step daughter Ashley is in college, my step son Kyle joined the Army 11/2008, then there is Jessica who is in the third grade and loves to play volleyball. I am an RN and work full time in a Interventional Radiology lab which specializes in limb salvage.

End of Week One
Well here I am at the end of week one. Justin left to go to bootcamp one week ago today. I am surprised at myself....really!! I have not had the emotional rollercoaster that I expected to have. Yes I cried, to my dismay, on his shoulder when I dropped him off at the hotel the night before departure, but did not cry at the MEPS for his oath ceremony or when he got in the cab to go to the airport.
