Im still here...it is fair week this week and the town is just abuzz with the rodeo, demo derbys and carnival rides. Of course, me being with the fire dept, I have had to work every night since last Wed!!! I just got done with my 3rd night of demo...

About me:
I'm a single mom with 3 kids. Josh, 17; Emily, 16; and Zac 12. I am the first and only female firefighter for the City of Abilene. I have a really good and close relationship with all of my kids. God, Family and Friends are the 3 most important things in my life. I love to watch football...Steelers are my team!! I love all types of music (except classical). When it comes to movies...the scarier the better. I like to read, true crime and serial killer bios. Im kind of a crack up, love to laugh and make people laugh, (Josh is the same way!!).

hey all...

As you can see, i haven't been on here for the last few weeks, things at work and in my personal life have been extremely sucky!!! As you know, i am a firefighter...the toughest job you could ever love....on the night of February 7 we had a house fire here in Abilene, in that fire 3 little kids lost their life, ages 4, 5, and 7. Hey Jenn~

Thanks for all of your wonderful support girlfriend! I couldn't have made it through this week without you! I was so proud and happy to share my news with you today and so thankful you were as encouraging and thoughtful and prayerful for us!! I can't wait to meet you and throw my arms around you for a giant Navy Mom hug!!! I think we will be friends for life girl!!
By the way~Colby said the WHOLE division is doing fantastic today and everyone is feeling wonderful about themselves right now!! Yay Josh!!

Hey momba! how are you doing? today is a better day for me im keeping busy and that is the only way i thnk that i will be able to get through this... but even when im busy all i can think about is him and how hard it must be for him right now, but all the girsl say that week 5 they start to enjoy it in a way because they are use to the way things work and are in the swing of things. We should watch the movie i have on saturday night if your down? if not thats fine it hink its due back monday or tuesday dont remember. sat or sunday im open. just let me know!
