About me:
I am Mom to 4 boys. Jaysen (He is going to be a HT) Matthew is a Soph, Jamie is a Freshman, and Morgan is an 8th grader. I was a Navy Brat, and married a Navy Man, Matt was a Submariner, and is out now. I spent most of my life at NAS Lemoore.

I miss my boy! It is hard to have someone there to take care of for 18 years, and then they aren't there anymore!!!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
This was the best decision he/she could have made

My son made it back just fine. MEPS went well for him. He had a really long day yesterday. We picked him up last night at the recuiters and, we all talked there for awhile. Monday or tuesday we will be able to talk to his recuiter alot more so, more of my many questions will be answered. My son is going to be a Hull Tech. He found out that he can be an advanced Hull Tech. His recutier wasen't sure what the advanced part of his job ment but, he was going to look into to it for us and let us know we we see him next week. If anyone knows what the advanced Ht is please let me know. Thank you. All I know so fare is that after he graduates in June 2009 he will be leaving for boot camp Oct. 7th, 2009. So we have lots of time to help him get ready.

we were going to make buttons with our pictures/names on them for the meet and greet....So far Susie is the only one who has done it, bless her heart! I've been to pregnant and lazy about it, I went to micheals and got overwhelmed with all the stuff I could do to my button, I finally just had to set everything down and leave! I Thought I could get to it later, but now its later, and I havent done it! lol

My son is Div 409 ship 12( SR Harris). I cannot wait until I leave for Great Lakes on Thurs. amd finally get to see him. I just found this web site today and wish I would have seen it earlier.

My son told me about this web site because he knows how hard of a time Im having. I am so glad to know I am not the only one feeling this way. My youngest son is also planning on following his brothers footsteps in the Navy. He is only 14 so I have a little more time to prepare for him leaving. I hope to see you there. Welcome to this wonderful web site. My son Lee is a submariner and has been in the Navy since Oct. 2005. I sure miss him (as all moms do). We live in Carrollton, just 3 miles north of Dallas. So glad to have contact with you and other moms. God bless you.
