Just got back from seeing mike. He failed his 3rd test and has to go before the academic review board Monday. He is pretty upset because he really tried hard to make the grade. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

My son left today
My son Mike left today for bootcamp we were told at 3:30 yesteday and he left at 9 am today. Now I am lost my little boy is gone and will no longer be I will see him a man. Where did all the time go? Safe travels Mike. I love you.

- Jessica, Ashley said all the Corpsman had to wear their dress blues, but they didn't have to attend the memorial service if they didn't know him?/ So sad and tragic. How is Mike liking his dorm situation or does he have the apt setup?

- My son didn't know much more. He didn't know the young man other than he was still in phase 1 and had just completed test 2 and couldn't remember his name. They were to have a memorial service for him today. Not sure if it was the entire base or just the corpsman side that was to be involved in the memorial.
Sorry I don't have more information.
