Joann..thanks for the info. It almost appears as though it was a big thing at one point and time and then kind a went underground or something..LOL I can't find new references to this group at all..except of course the sites you've started...do you have certain bylaws..is the organization tax exempt? Do you need a certain amount of people to start it? do any of the chapters operate a website that I could possibly view? I think this is a valid organization and it deserves to be better known....I noticed that you are attempting to get the word out...Navyformoms is a great place to get that done.

JoannP--actually found the navy for mothers by accident through a googl search..wasn't searching for that though..LOL I've been on navyformoms for sometime now and this is the first I heard of this group..odd since it is so old. I went to the official website..but it just isn't very informative. We are currently beginning a local navy moms group for support and such and have our first meeting on the 15th..i would love to give the ladies information about this Club if you would kindly point to a place i can gather information.

The Holw in my address is Hollow, but the post office insists that the correct mailing address is spelled "Holw." It's a post office edict, so I go along with it.

JoAnn, Thanks for your quick response. I gathered seven names at our meet and greet, which was the number I was told was the minimum needed to start a chapter in SA. I do have questions about the organization and so, will probably the other mothers. One thing I was wondering about was the cost, if any, to start up a group.

JoAnn, I'll have to look through my e-mails and see who I sent my address to. It was someone who contacted me via e-mail. Well anyway, it's Ms. Joni Simon, 25342 Mesquite Holw. Dr., San Antonio, TX 78255. Are you with the Arlington chapter? Thanks.
