- Blue Skies, Jody! I just sent you a friend request. I live in Belleville, right across the river from you. My son, "Navy Mike" is out on deployment right now, also. Glad your DIL is able to join you to await his return.
I am in the process of coordinating N4Ms to gather at a couple of the St Louis Navy Week events - the Kickoff Concert on Thursday evening at Union Station, and the Dinner Event on Wed. Apr 22 - which will be held over in Belleville. You and your husband and DIL would really enjoy the Dinner event. I posted a blog on it today on my profile.

We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!

- About me:
- Well my son has been in the Navy all most 2 years now, and still loves want he does. We are very proud of him and all he has done so far. He is on deployment at this time and his wife has returned home to wait for his return. We started riding with a group knowns as the Patriot Guard, we go to meet the Guys who are coming home, it is a blessing to us to be there to support the families of the our Hero and our Fallen Hero!!!! I Thank all Moms who support us and our children. bless you all

- Was proud and encouraged it
- From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
- I was raised a Army Brat so life in any of our branches was fine with me. But it helps when your Dad knows how the services is ran.He answered alot of my questions which I was able to help my sister-in-law understand when her son joined the marines
- Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
- It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
