To tell you the truth, I am not sure what his job will be. He is AZ with the navy, but I think with this, he is doing something with the army. He said some kind of team leader, but I really don't know. Last christmas was rough for me as neither he...

Oh no, that is not very encouraging Kimme HA-right now mine pretty much blows it all on his truck, but since that won't be there, maybe there is hope. When they first go over, is there room to take gaming systems and things like that, or are they ...

This is probably going to sound like an odd question, but do your son/daughters tend to save more being that there is no where to go, or is there enough to do and buy that the paycheck still seems to disappear.

Did I read somewhere that cell phones do not work here? Where do they get phone access and how and where do they have computer access? Thanks,

He thinks he will fly but if he has some others to ride he might come in his car so he will have it here for the whole time. Is yours needsing a ride? Justin is in the 125 is yours?

He is flying to his gf on Thanksgiving break and they are coming here for Christmas. I still am not sure when he is coming though.

Is your sailor still in Lemoore? Justin is finally out of school and in the squadron (VFA125). He had wisdom teeth out today and then back to work. He is liking it and ready to get into the shop and be busy. Just touching base. MM

Hi Jody, I was just wondering if most kids go to regular squadrons after being with 125 for awhile? Is he happy with 125, mine seems to be ok with being with them. Hes tired of being in Lemoore and hasn't been there that long!! :)

I guess it will have to be a Saturday. I don't forsee Janice being able to get off on Fridays, once School starts.
-Reed looked up Shane, Reed is now the Recruit commander or something and Shane is his lieutenant. As you can see I am clueless with the correct command names. I thing Reed got the job because is is the longest DEPer there. He also said something about always having his Navy shirt on and know the creed by heart.
-He said he didn't know why I wanted him to meet Shane. I guess it is a female thing. We always think they will want some sort of connection. His deal is, he and Shane will not be in Boot Camp together - so why bother. Know this about the Male does make it easier to understand.
-I need to get off the computer and get ready to leave the house.
-Talk to you latter about getting together.

Hey Jody,
-This could work. My Marine Moms group is really spread out, all over Houston. Being in the 'Military' is a lot like Scouts, there are guys & their families there when you join and a complete turn over by the time you get out. For a person who likes her rut, it is discombobulating!
-Reed was home schooled. We had issues with our older son getting into the Marine Corps because of this. Reed has been taking classes @ Lonstar College. We all agreed that he needed to keep up his math skills and get a taste of physics, since he will be headed to the NUKE program.
-Is Shane in the NUKE program? I ask Reed, however I didn't have a name, about someone leaving for BC in November in the NUKE program. He didn't know of anyone and he is not as nosy as I am.
-I work, but only part time. Janice is a teacher, and will be back teaching Aug, 18. What are your and Cathy's schedule like?

Tower Oaks and Mossy Oaks are both off of Cypress North Houston.
-Reed leaves the first week in December.
-I re-read some of the post and it looks like you and Jancie have already been conversing.
-What stage is your sailor in?

Hey Jody,
-I have a DEPer. He won't be leaving until December for Boot Camp.
-I, too live in the Cypress area. Actually right on the border, on the Houston side in Tower Oaks.
-A friend of mine lives in Moss Oaks, her daughter and my son were on swim team from the time they were 6 until they aged off at 18. Megan is on the Nimitz.
-Where abouts do you live?

Great info. I am sure he will be glad to knwo someone from Texas and they could drive together. Justin will have hsi car and he is taking his tent, backpack and fishing stuff. Hopes to do some outdoors stuff when it cools off. Does your son like that kind of thing? Justin also likes water and anything to do with it. Once he settles, I will PM you his info for your son to get his info and they can meet. Iam not sure if they all live in same barracks or what it is like there. MM
