Could someone tell me what the term is for fire something? Its a field of study at the school? My girlfriend said that's what her son got, and I cant remember the technical name? But it was something like Fire...............?

The day before graduation?
At what point during boot camp do they have battle stations?
Well it's almost time for PIR, I cant wait to see my son. Any one staying at the Ramada Inn? That's were we are staying, I cant wait to met you all too.
What should you wear for PIR? Is it casual?
Yes my sons in that division and ship
Is Battlestations on the last week of boot camp?
can any one tell me if they send home a graduation packet?
How are you notified about graduation? Or do you just assume that they are graduating on the date posted? Something in the mail??????? Or better yet a phone call????????????

Could someone please tell me if they are aloud to bring their cell phones, i pods stuff like that to Nuke school?
I received 3 letters from my son dated Sept. 9th, on the envelope where the Navy logo is (top right hand side) he had blacked out. Can anyone tell me if this means something? Or just doodling? His letters were fine, nothing wrong with him, but just…

so you got the letter with the date. the only things that can keep your recruit from graduating on that date are either a set back due to illness or not being able to pass a test he has to pass(written or physical test) or not passing battlestations. From what i was told, if they are in fear of not passing they have to call family to tell them. If he's passing all his tests so far and doing okay on his physcial assessment tests, he should pass his final PFA. as far as battlestations, most pass this last "test". only a few don't. Is your son in the first or last divisions of the graduating date? If his division is in the first few they go thru battlestations first, if he's in the last divisions, they go thru the last days before graduation. hope that helps.

- Hey! I just received two letters and a call from my son. One letter was a 20 questions survey I sent him. I asked him if he had made any good friends, and he had your last name listed! I hope your son gets to call you today too! It seems like they are in a pretty good group, they seems to all get along well together.

- Thanks for the info. I was wondering if the entire DIV gets to call on the same day, and then how many are calling. I see your son is going to Nuke. So is mine. Do you know if they have all the Nuke's in one DIV, or do they spread them out in other DIV? I'm one who likes to know it all, and this type of stuff is driving me nuts! Not too bad thought! I'm trying to learning to relax and go with the flow!

- Christine got leave after 3 months of school, security clearence comes 1st, she then got promoted to Petty Officer, Nuke school is very demanding but My daughter loves it! She just Married another Nuke..So the Navy gave me a son in law too!
