thank you. I just left my dr's office and it appears that the tumor is gone. Because of the aggressive nature of this cancer, we will still do 2 more chemo tx before the masectomy, followed by more chemo and radiation. But the prognosis is favorable now. Keep the prayers coming. Also, I got my first letter today from my son. I haven't stopped crying since. I miss him like crazy, but he is doing great.

thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I know that this is probably harder on my son than it is on me. He struggled w/going and only went because I told him that would make me the happiest. I am so glad he went because now I focus on seeing him at PIR instead of the cancer. I have my 3rd chemo tx tomorrow and won't have to have my masectomy until after his PIR.

Dear Julia,
That sounds wonderful about Mathias. I wish him the best!
Okay, your at the half way point. It's worrisome for us moms.
Our babies are fine and in good hands in the Navy, even eating well !
I strongly recommend that you join the group that has the same Div and Ship as Mathias. That will be on his return adress under his name. The moms there are all going through what your experiecing.
Also, when you recieve the grad. package, reserve a hotel room as soon as you can. The package will have a list of local hotels.
You take and God bless.

Dear Julia,
How are you today? This Navy for moms is such a blessing.
My daughter Kim graduated two months ago and is now in A School.
Where is Matthias now in the Navy, Boot Camp or A School?
If he is in Boot Camp, how far along is he?
The reason I ask, I enjoy sharing information on what to expect in Boot Camp.
I hope to hear from you again.
Take care and God bless.
Barbara
