Yeah, I'm so happy to see you back. I have wondered what your doing. Have you heard from you daughter? I have talked to douglas about three times this deployment. I've missed the last two calls. I can't wait to meet you at Homecoming. Hope to catch up with you soon, I remember when your daughter reported to the ship, it seems so long ago.

You have been MIA, where are you, I miss talking to you. Have you talked with your sailor, how is she doing. I don't get to talk to Douglas much, two times this deployment, how are you doing with deployment. I remember your sailor leaving to meet the IKE and talking with you , now it's just another day of deployment. I bet she's got tons of friends. Let me know how she is doing...would love to chat with you. Thinking of you. :)

Kat I remember when your sailor reported to the Ike, now it's old news. How is she doing, what does she think? Douglas just loves it. How are you and anything new going on with you? I'm just thinking about going to the movies today. I really want to see Bride Wars, my neice is getting married and her and I went to a Huge Bridal show over the weekend. It was so much fun. I asked Douglas if he knew Jennifer but he didn't think he did , he said they use last names and he knows a few girls,,,,anyhow Hope she's doing well , keep in touch I would love to know how she's doing. Oh Yeah....she will meet so many people now...She will have tons of friends. By time you talk to her next she will of met a Ton of people. Douglas still gets home sick but his friends are wonderful. I'm glad you got to hear her voice. That has to be a great feeling for you. I do remember the worry I had. I want to hear all about her first outing when you talk to her. I am looking forward to the Holiday's and sending cards to each of our sailors, I feel like they are part of my family. I really am looking forward to meeting mom's when the ship comes back from the big deployment. Well just want to say I'm so happy she's made friends and it's going to only get better. Have a wonderful week and I'll chat with you soon.

Kat, love the slide show..how is Jennifer? Did you ever get to hear from her? I told Douglas and Keena to try and find her...Douglas said it will be very hard to find her with out knowing her division ...But I gave them her name. I hope she's enjoying ship life. How are you doing?? I'm really excited to hear how Jennifer is adjusting to the IKE. Had she ever seen a carrier before arriving. Douglas had not so it said he was in aww of seeing her for the first time. Keep in touch, I didn't get to talk to Kenna but once last weekend, she was so sick , so when they get back I' ll find out what I can about the big deployment ....enjoy your weekend and i'll chat with you soon. :]

Hi Kat, Douglas lives on the ship..it's suppose to be E4 and under can not live off the ship. Kenna does have a room-mate off the ship. On E2 pay I would really think it's smart to live on the ship. They have anything you could need there..but they can leave the ship on the weekends..and after work each day and go places. They can go anywhere on or off base. Douglas goes to the movies or out to eat....I will text him and kenna her name and tell them to look out for her. Douglas has sprint and it doesn't work on the ship well at all. So I have to wait for him to get up and head off the ship to get ahold of him..they have pay phones on the ship..so if you send anything to her...phone cards are awesome. They don't have a ton of room in their lockers but Douglas has a PSP and a Wii plus all his stuff....for when the ship is out to sea for something to do in their down time. Just FYI.

Kathy if you can find where she is I know Douglas or Kenna(like a daughter ) to me will help her...Both Douglas and kenna were the same way , they didn't have a sponsor and had to find their way around...In a weeks time she will know so much and you and her will feel so much better...I promise. Douglas is an E2 also...What is your last name and I will have both of them look for her.I'm sending you a friend request..once were friends I can tell you so much more. I don't want to put info out that can put them in danger. She is going to meet so many people. Really don't worry. I know I say that and you going Yeah Right...but she will be taken care of. Douglas and Kenna both are doing great. It's just new to her right now. Let me know if I can help You in anyway.

I'm starting a list of all our Ike sailors, could you PM me your son's Title, rank, division. So we can mail cards and gift boxes to our sailors....thanks ..Once I get all our sailors I will send a complete list.
