My son is VP40.
My son was in Iraq one year and Qater the other birthday. This year his brother went to see him and didnt get to see him.
Its not fair! Im in the Kans and the Mo group and we never hang out together.
I already picked the place. Kans city MO! LOL
The 12th sounds great!! Now you all just need to come to Kans city!!!!
I hate to hear "I hated the ending."
Yesterday I went to the movies and Twight and Blindside were sold out. I saw the one about the black girl who had two kids by her dad. It was interesting and Im sure it happens more than we know. It was sold out too but we got in since we got ther...
The phone ran early this morning and woke me up so guess where I am! LOL

Gwen from Pullman said… - Hi Karen, I am another Navy mom with a son at Whidbey. He is leaving on Nov. 2nd for Qatar and I noticed you had a sailor go there too. I was jut wondering if you could tell me a bit about the base. I am assuming he'll have internet connection with his wireless laptop. He knows his cell phone won't work but are there disposable cell phones he can buy on base to call home once in a while? How did your sailor like qatar? Was it hard to mail stuff there? Any and all tidbits of info would be greatly appreciated!! Hugs, Gwen

I saw Neil Diamond in concert--turned out it was just before I found out we were pregnant with our sailor! Any, Neil does a fantastic concert. I am debating whether to buy the DVD they put out that has another hour of that concert that was on TV. Both hubby and I were sad the program wasn't longer.
