Hi - my son Jeff graduated last week and is waiting to go to San Diego. Boot Camp seemed to last forever. Now its over and it feels like it flew by. Graduation is wonderful and well worth the wait. Good Luck to all our sailors.

Hi Karen, welcome to ship 17 Moms and Moms of Discharged Sailors. Don't give up the ship!! Being on hold may just mean he is waiting for orders. Unless he tells you he is being separated since he graduated he may not be being discharged. sometimes they wait months to get orders.

I am a substitue teacher and assistant director of a school based child care program. I also teach arts and crafts to adults with disabilities. In the summer I am an assistant director at our middle school summer camp program.
I love dogs and am the proud owner of an English Setter and a Newfoundland.
