When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Let your child make their own decisions regarding joining the NAVY. After 3 years of college, Sara decided she didn't know where she was in life and thought she was wasting our money in school. Did all her own research and she had the answers for us when she told us she had met with a recruiter.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
