Profile Information
- About me:
- I have been an LVN for 12 years and I am going back to college to get my RN degree. I am married and my husband is also in the medical field. We have one son and 4 dogs, 3 with us and I in heaven. I love music and going to concerts. I am a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan. My son is stationed in Washington state and has been in the Navy over 2 years. He has already been stationed on the USS Nimitz for a brief tour.

- Was proud and encouraged it
- From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
- To be supportive. Our sailor belongs to the Navy. We are here to be his support system, but the Navy is in charge.
- Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
- It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

I didn't realize you had gone back to school. I drive by Weatherford College now and then on the weekends when I go visit with my parents. We're usually on our way to someplace to eat over there, or JCPenney and Belks stores. You sure go a long way to school. I'm sure it is worth it though. Did you go see the Blue Angels a few weeks ago? I didn't. Thought about it though.
I'm wearing my Navy Mom shirt today.
Chris doesn't think he will be home for Thanksgiving or Christmas. Missed the deadline to turn in a leave chit. He didn't know there was a deadline, he said.
Erin is doing well this year in school. She's at a youth retreat in Athens this weekend. She's wanting to go to the parade. She's going to hound Christine about riding a horse, I bet.

Austin graduated from A school in the Submarine school in Groton, CT
today
we are so proud of him
it was a lot of hard work but he made it
thanks to the Navy and Navy moms like you
he is going to Hawii in July
to be on the USS Charrlotte Submarine

I hope we can do the Navy moms lunch again
this summer or in the fall.
