Received! Instead of crying, we had a good laugh here. It looks as though he walked into a room and someone said take all your clothes off right now!! Everything was inside out and in a ball : ) Curious thing... no socks. I'm OK without them. Now we're just waiting for the form letter... I'm happy he's there having an adventure!

I thought for sure he would call the cell phone... I asked him to call the cell phone, but that didn't happen. I assume in the rush of everything, he could only think of the land line. He also called collect when we had given him a phone card. I wonder if he accidently put the phone card in the box? LOL.
I find myself thinking about what he's doing right now. And then there's also the thought... I bet he loves the food! I don't cook very well... so, he's probably in heaven : )

My son and six other recruits were up at MEPs, did their thing and left for the airport.... though, they missed the plane. I can't imagine that's a great way to make first impression.
They're set to leave first thing in the morning.

I dropped my son off at the recruiters office. He'll head up to the airport this afternoon and then to Great Lakes tomorrow. I have a raging headache from crying, but trying to hold it in.
I know everyone here has either gone through this, or is getting ready to... I'm not unique in my feelings, but it's nice to write them down.
