Thank you for your sweet comment, Skylar was hesitant on going and had a hard time in bootcamp (mama's boy big time) but since he has been in A school for about 2 months now he sounds a little happier each time I talk to him . Even with his roommate thingyy, He did say he talked to his old roommate and he is doing much better and Skylar really likes his new roommate so far. He did tell me that he would have made the same decision about joining the Navy if he could do it over agian. He doesn't regret it and it does get much easier. Just let your son know that. Also I could tell how proud my son was in his uniform when I went to see him at BC graduation and that told me alot.

When it comes to the words you used in the ASVAB room ~ Not to worry girl. Like I said You are just worried about your son, and by gosh you have ALL right to be. Dont let anyone fool you - we were all very scared when our sailors signed up too. After awhile you get desensitized to the war, and also you get a better understanding of how the military works !! I personally think your son made the right choice with choosing the Navy (but then again I am biased ) LOL LOL
If there is anything you need dont hesitate to ask - I will do all I can for you and with you ! Good Lucky to your son Darling , let me know how the ASVAB goes for him :)

Well good luck! Bootcamp is harder on the mom than the kids I think. But this website will help you. You will get addicted. You can find all sorts of info out on here in search. Start up a group with his division and ship and get to talking to other moms so you can piece together what is going on by what they hear and by what you hear. It helps! I can answer questions if you need anything! Just remember that boot camp will be over and then you can talk all the time with him! It seems forever, but when you get here, oh happy day!! Good luck on your adventures! Good luck to Joshua! Thanks for raising a fine son that will serve our great country!
