- About me:
Hello, I'm larissa :) I am a very proud navy wife and I love him more than anything. We are high school sweethearts and got married November 7, 2008. We are expecting our first baby, Connor, in November and couldn't be more happy! Derik graduated from basic training on July 3, 2008 from DIV 239 SHIP 12 and graduated from Corps school on October 29, 2008 and is now a hospital corpsman. We are stationed at Camp Pendleton in California. He graduated from Field Medical Training Battalion on March 13, 2009. We are also facing our first deployment in August. He will be going on a ship to Okinawa, Japan. It's been hard leaving all my family and friends in Texas but we're making it work. He's my hero and i love him with all my heart!

- as a new navy wife the most important thing i have learned is:
that no matter how much distance their is between me and my sailor, i know that our love is strong enough to get us through anything! and "she who waits, also serves."
- Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
- It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

hows derik? when does he leave to okinawa?
so does this mean ur leaving to texas in august too? atleast u wont be alone and u will be busy bc of the baby too rite??
