Let me know if I can help any other way with your chat question.
I put you on friend request so you can private message it rather than put on public page.

From post on here I see it could take 15-30 min. to find our sailor after Liberty call at pir. Could you tell me is there any place in the bldg. Lesa,
Thank you for allowing our daughter to spend Christmas with you all. She really enjoyed her day even though she was sick. It was great to meet all of you. I too wish we had spent more time to visit. We were just so tired. We made it home last night at 11pm. We left the hotel at 6am. I am also glad that we did not encounter any snow, although we would have enjoyed a little. And yes, we can keep in touch even though are girls are gone in different directions. Haley called me at 3:30am to let me know that she had made it to the airport. I am waiting on her call from Florida after she gets settled in. It may be later this evening before I hear from her. My email address is, lynettem@bellsouth.net. Drop me a line and we can exchange phone numbers and such. Again, it was nice meeting you and thanks for taking care of our baby girl.

I took a few pics which I will be more than happy to send to you or I will post on my page. I am still in Chicago. I will be taking my brother and sister in law to the airport in about 45 minutes, then coming back to the Hotel to sleep a little more. The cornfields across Il,IN, and Ohio are full of deer, so I will wait until it's daylight for my drive back.

Let me know about the pics..

Hugs,
Tracy~

About me:
My name is Lesa and I am happily married with two daughters! The oldest is my sailor. Stephanie has talked about joining the Navy since high school, but waited until now to do it. I will admit that I am nervous, but also SO PROUD! I know this is the right choice for her and hope that the Navy helps give her the rest of what she needs from life! There was never a prouder moment of my life than watching her and her division walk into the drill hall on PIR day! Keep it up, Steph, we are so proud of you!
My other daughter is 16 and learning to drive! She is a good kid, but not one that I would see following in her sister's footsteps. She wants to go to college to become a pediatrician. She has a heart of gold and would do anything to help out other people...especially children!
I can definately deal with having a doctor and a sailor for children! They are amazing young women, and along with my husband, they inspire me every day!

When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid, Was proud, Was relieved
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
you have to go with the flow, because things change all the time in the military! And, you have to have lots of patience because it is always about hurrying up to wait!

Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
This was the best decision he/she could have made

PIR photos from 1/2/2009

I am looking for other parents that took pictures at PIR on January 2nd. My camera did not cooperate and so my pictures are dark and fuzzy! My daughter was in DIV 048, but would like any pictures for our scrapbook! Thanks in advance for any help, and congratulations on your new sailors!
