It is hard being on LIMDU, I was LIMDU for what seemed like forever! It took the Navy a while to really figure out what was wrong with me, I had test, after test and saw Dr after Dr. In the end the Navy moved me to San Diego (I was in Mississippi)...

My son will be graduating from power school April 10. We're planning a vacation around going to the graduation and the following week. Only 2-1/2 more weeks!
The Navy is trying to help him by putting him on LIMDU and getting him medical treatment. Just because your son thinks he will be discharged doesn't mean he will be, that is up to the Navy.
I removed it - thanks for the tip.
He just got orders for LIMDU and is told he has to wait 6 months for a physical to determine his ability to remain in the Navy. He believes he'll be medically discharged. Seems like a long time to wait to be disc...

We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
