About me:

My name is Olivia, my boyfriend is going to be signing up for the Navy soon. I know this is going to be the hardest thing I've ever been through. We plan on getting married after he gets back from BC or BUDS hopefully things will work out so we can get married very soon! He is the most amazing guy in the world, I love him to death and I am SO thankful for him.

I have heard from Aaron two times via phone, the first time I missed it, I was so upset, then 2 weeks later he called again 20 min phone call.. I was shopping LOL I was being all emotional in public, people were probley thinking wtf... The letters started coming in the 3rd week . So every week since then on thursday I get letters from him... I love Thursday just for that reason alone! I havent heard anything about 8 month tours and such... Ya Aaron trained real hard for about a yr before he went in. He also trained others he was an RCPO.
I have another friend who should have left for the navy on the 5th of this month but he wasnt making times so they held him back... So training for it is very important! Ya I think you waiting till BUDS is a good idea. Because you wouldnt be able to live with him till about then,,,

So do you live in Cali? Is that why he is going all the way to San Diego? I’m sure he is super excited! Aaron did the DEP also!
I am glad! It will give him time to get ready, work out, mentally prepare. Aw well that’s great that we two are getting engaged soon!
I cant wait for DEC 5th!!!! 23 more days!

Hey girl,
My name is Angela; My BF Aaron is at boot camp right now at Great Lakes, IL Naval Station. He graduates on Dec 5ht , then will start Pre-Buds.
He is also training to become a Navy Seal.
You should be very proud of your BF !
It is difficult to have them gone for such a period of time.
Can be very lonely at times, but it will be so worth it to see your man in uniform! I can’t wait!

When are you guys planning on getting married?

I heard from him last night!! :) However, he had a bone scan done on monday and they found two additional breaks in his feet on top of the ones he already had. :( They brought him back down from a level 3 PT to a level 2. He needs to get to level 4 before being put back into a regular DIV. They gave him sneakers in hopes that maybe it will help the healing process go faster, but his doctor said that he is getting gradually worse instead of better. I think it has to do with his arches to be honest because he was born without arches and they had to be molded with inserts in his shoes. So I think that might be a huge issue, because he gets tendenitis really easily in his feet. But I guess we will see what happens. He has another doctors appointment today, but I won't get my next phone call until next week unless they come to a decision before then. But I will definitely keep you updated. Thanks for your support! :)

my sailor jus called me from FL. He got there safely;]
his room mate has a 22 inch tv and x box 360 & he should be getting his cellphone by next week. so i am very excited. he heard my voice and totally told me i need to get better soon ;]
