About me:
I have been married for 25 years. I have 4 children, my oldest is an FC in the navy. I have one in college at WIU, and one is a freshman in community college and my only girl is the youngest. I am a school secretary. My mother lives with us also. We have 2 dogs (black labs) a cat, a lizard and a guinea pig.

Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
patience. I have never had much patience, and I am learning to wait.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hi, I am definitely going to the meet and greet in Bloomington on Oct. 17. A few months ago there was a get together in Rockford and I emailed 3 other moms in the area. They said they wanted to go but all backed out at the last minute. This time I asked my best friend if she wanted to go (I mean she is an honorary Navy aunt to my son) and she said yes. We haven't decided if we are going to stay overnight or not. Let me know and I can PM you my phone number. Would be delighted to meet you in person and have you go with us. Pat

Busy with school registration so I am totally swamped.
Prayers are going to your son who is along side my son on the USS Sampson & the USS Nimitz. Prayers for all.

It was on NAB Island South coronado and it was just fine. All I needed was a bed, TV and shower, but it also had a small frig and microwave and coffee maker, the good kind you put the tub in and it shoots hot water in it. Flavia I think. I could see 3 different fireworks from my room.

I am going to his C school graduation July 2nd. He thinks he will have orders for Japan. I can't believe there are no more FC moms with CIWS graduation that day. I'm sure I would have heard about it on the FC/ET group.
