About me:
I'm an Administrative Specialist/Computer Graphics/Graphic Design Artist. Kori is my first child in the Navy. Soon I will be an empty nester within three years at least. I love to scrapbook and I also digital scrapbook. I belong to a non profit group called the society for Creative Annachronism or SCA for short.

This is me and my first flower for the season. I have a million more that are coming up but the first ones are always the best a testiment to the signs of spring.

Long chat with son last night

Kori called me last night and we are secretly planning to suprise his brothers and sister that he is actually coming home on Thursday now. As he completed his paperwork for SD on Monday last week when he didn't need to get it in until wednesday. He will find out more about travel arrangements today and give me a call tonight. I'm so excited to have him home. And I know he's excited to come home too.

Just got orders today

My son just got his orders today. He was really excited about it. He gets to go to San Diego. He will be graduating A school soon and come home for 15 days Next week Friday! I'm so excited! He also told me not to tell his brothers and sister that he was going to be coming he wants to surprise them. I've been extremely ill this past 7 days and the medication they put me on isn't making me feel very good. Alot of complications with the the meds. Waiting quietly for my son to call home today.

My son is in A school right now and we've talked a bit this week. He's waiting orders to go out on ship. Right now he's on hold and hopfully will have the orders today and will call me tonight. He may come home for two weeks before going out on ship. So here I sit at work waiting patiently for that phone call. I can hardly wait to hear what is coming up next.

Keel Book and phone call from my son

Just got my sons Keel book Thursday, July 31,2008. It has alot of photos in it but I can not tell who is who they all look alike. It's neat to have it though.

Talked to my son on Sunday. They had finished FCC school and are moving on to AT school. What ever that is. He got himself a cell phone but do you think they have time to call home? Not. I teach third grade. However, I think my principal is going to make me either go up to fourth or down to second for next year. I am bumming big time, because I really do love third grade :( It has been really hard for me to get any correcting done, because I write Drew at night, then I want to come on this site. I am getting further behind every day, so I will have to spend a day or two away from this site I think. I wish I new what you son's last name is. My son has talked about a few of the guys, but only last names. Did you get my friend request?

Oh, I'm so sorry that you didn't get the call! I got a call around 12:00 noon or so. We talked for about 20 minutes. He sounded so good. I had seen on the division site where E.G. had posted that his son said they would get a call on Saturday, so I kept my cell phone with me. The first thing he said was, "I tried to call on Mother's Day, but I didn't know how to work the calling card." Someone showed him how to use it. I wish I knew if he knew your son, but we shouldn't post last names on here, and they only know each other by last names. :( Glad to know you are all right. I can't remember, what do you do at school? We don't get out until June 17th. We also reserved a room at the Red Carpet Inn.
