well Lori; I'm sorry to say I don't know what squadron bryan is on, don't think he ever told me. He rarely tells me much about what he does on the ship etc... I know that he is a machinst mate/ Firefighter. He was writing often and now not so much. I wonder what that's all about. Well, he has been in the navy less than a year and he was only in San Deigo a few days before they flew him to the ship. I bet he will be geek-up about going to Hawaii, he's gotta be! keep in touch! Pam

So, enjoy your time here and I'm looking forward (along with the community) to reading more about you. :D

Hi Lori, my son has been in Lemoore for 5 years, he married a local girl. He was with VFA 122 (training squadron) the first two years, he'll be with VFA 25 into 2010, then who knows! Derek is an AE, is Shaun an AE, I can't remember whether I saw that or not. I'm having such a hard time keeping everyone straight!! Where in Michigan are you? My son-in-law is from Grand Rapids.

Hi Lori,
My son is new to Lemoore, actually doesn't report until tomorrow, so I would love to know all about it. He is AZ and will be assigned to a training squadron. I think 125, not sure that is the right one though. You mentioned your son was deployed and on his way home. Would love any info you have.

Hi Lori, welcome to Michigan Moms. My son is in BC right now. Its only been a week. My first husband was in the Navy and we were station in San Diego. We were there for almost 4 years. My first child was born there. Have you been there yet? I was so homesick. Ben will be in Pensacola after BC for his A school. I would like to take my daughter back to San Diego some day and show her where she was born. She is 21 now and at Western Michigan for nursing. Alot has probably changed in SD over the years.

Hi Lori; thank-you for writing. So tell me about your son. What is his title and how long has he been in the navy? Was this his first deployment? I haven't heard from Bryan and I was wondering if you've heard from yours? write again sometime, Pam
