Lorraine- Jared just posted on his wall on facebook "Did you just hit on that girl by talking to her about a trash can?" And Lucas left a comment that said "ha ha ha
good times." So, this must be something that happened when they were out with their buddies together. Just sharing info. I thought it was funny. : )

yes, I always told my sailor to treasure his quiet boring days, as they soon would come to an end.

Our sailor is in the last couple of months of prototype. He likes it so much better than classwork. He's always been a hands on guy--carrying around tools as soon as he was big enough to hold them! Loved all his tech ed classes in high school and college---yet surprised me with some of his papers in another class.
Charleston is a great place to visit! My brother and his family used to live there early on in my hubby and my marriage, so it was always a cheap vacation for us to visit there in the 80's.
We have a pix of our sailor pointing out a personalized brick we received one year for our anniversary--it's in downtown Charleston by the old Woolworth building. We now have a pix of our son at ages 5 and 21 pointing out the brick. Pretty cool.
Ours is an MM.

ok, I am totally confused. I didn't see an adderss where to send the scarf(s). I did join that one site so is it being sent to that guy that is listed? Can I packed the scarf(s) with whatever else I get?

I just chatted with Jared on facebook chat and he said that he and Lucas and two others will be together on Halloween night in Downtown Charleston. They are still unsure of their costumes as the ones they found at the costume shop were way too big. They thought about the Village People but they couldn't find what they needed. No clue what they will end up being, but it sounds like the plan is that they will be together that night! : )

Hi Lorraine! I just talked to Jared and he said that he and Lucas went to a Halloween shop together today to look for Halloween costumes but they were closed. Anyhow, just thought I'd let you know they were together. I think they are going downtown Charleston on Halloween night. Not sure if they're going together, but they are looking forward to celebrating the holiday. : )

Hi Lorraine, I love the new photo on your profile page. We've been really having fun with Sean, and I know what you mean about keep giving hugs to your sailor as I did the same with Sean. How is Lucas? You guys must be so happy. I am not looking forward to Monday morning when Sean leaves. Do you think they get leave for Christmas? Cindy mentioned that they close the base for 10 days, but I'm not sure if our sailors get to come home for the holidays. Perhaps they have to stay and work. Again, congrats to Lucas. ~ Cindy

Hi Loraine, Tim got to SC on Wednesday. He is rooming with someone who has been there awhile which is nice because he can show him the way around. He said it is beautiful there and sounds like he is in much better spirits. It sounds like a great place to be. he is even talking about having a bbq this evening. It must feel great to get back to a somewhat normal life. His phone was due for an upgrade so he is heading out today to get a new one. It will be so nice to be able to call him!

Wow-scary stuff as you want your son around positive, energetic influences. Maybe this kid has learned and will do better this time around.
Try to find out if Lucas knows my son. I sent you an email.
