Profile Information

About me:
I am the mother of three grown kids. My oldest daughter attends University of Oklahoma. My twins (son John, daughter Jamie) just graduated from high school. John has enlisted in the Navy awaiting bootcamp. Jamie will stay here to attend the local jr college then transfer to OU. My husband is a civilian for the Army, he is a QASAS (Quality Assurance Specialist). We travel around for the Army, so home is where the government sends you. I am from TEXAS, but have lived in IL, UT, AL and now OK. My husband has been to Johnston Island, Afghanastan twice and Iraq once.

I enjoy coffee with the "girls". I enjoy reading Patricia Cornwell & James Patterson books. My all time favorite book and movie is "To Kill A Mockingbird". I enjoy movies, good friends, shopping and most of all my family.
I am here to support or represent my:

When I heard “Navy,” I:
Needed to learn more about it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Keep in touch with Navy for Moms! You will know you are not alone there are other moms out there who are going through what you are going thru. Or they have been there, have lots of infor for you to read so you will know what will be going on.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
