Hey Girl long time not talk, I hear that Liz finally made out of GL and is in Pensacola. Danielle was wondering what Job Liz was doing (she forgot) and if she knows what ship she will be on when she's done in Pensacola. I also heard that she is in Delta barracks with the others that are still there from Div 911.
We are in Virgina right now, Yes another road trip lol, this time my husband came with me and we made it a little vacation time. On Saturday we will be taking her to the Ship, she is on the Bush, its the newest ship in the fleet and they go out for sea trials on Monday so she is looking forward to go out to sea.
This will be the last raod trip for us for awhile, It seems like for the past 4 months I have spent at least 1 week on the road , I am very tired.
Well my friend please keep in touch and let me know whats going on with Liz. I would love to send Liz a card so when you get her address please let me know..

It was so special to get to meet you and talk to you at the hotel! I can't believe that it is all over and we are back in Colorado and back to our old lives! And of course - I am back to waiting to hear from Eric!
I heard it was so cold in Great Lakes again today - I know that Eric couldn't wait to get going to South Carolina. I feel sorry for the sailors who had their A school at Great Lakes!
Have you heard from Liz? Some of the moms have heard from their kids while they are traveling to A school. I am hoping that Eric will call me while he is at the airport tomorrow. I don't think we will see him again until August - it will be hard - but at least communication should be a lot easier.

Well, we are back now to Colorado, having left yesterday (Monday) around noon. What a whirlwind trip! I think the time went by entirely too fast, but I am so grateful that we got to go. Thanks for the sweet words about my family. I was glad our daughter and Jesse's girlfriend got to come to GL, but in some ways it would have been alot easier if it were just my husband and I. We ended up moving into a bigger (and more expensive) room the last 2 days because my daughter was not comfortable on the sofa sleeper or the rollaway bed! Oh well... we gave the girls the two beds and we slept on the sofa sleeper. It was all worth it just to be there for Jesse. I wish I could have had more time with him, but it's hard when his girlfriend wanted lots of time with him, too! I got a few minutes to sit alone with him on the sofa back at the room on Sunday afternoon (finally!) and he just put his head on my shoulder... I cried and blubbered, telling him how much I loved him and how proud of him I was. Thankfully, he let me do that -- and didn't tell me not to cry. I really needed that time with him.

I saw your post on LDS Moms! My husband just had PIR last Friday, it was wonderful. He said the church services were great and he was happy to get his LDS dog tags. Congrats to your daughter! Have a wonderful time in Chicago - we went to the Sears tower and took our children to the Sheed Aquarium.

I just got a phone call from Megan. Megan said that they will get a bathroom break at the PIR hall a little bit before the actual ceremony. She said if we are in the bathroom at the same time as they are having their bathroom break we'll have a chance to see them before the ceremony. I hope the bathroom is close to where the div 911 section is. I want to try to see her before it starts :)
