- When I heard “Navy,” I:
- Needed to learn more about it
- From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
- My son viewed the Navy as an opportunity for him to learn valuable life and job skills and to serve his country. He has learned so much since he enlisted.
He is a Corpsman serving as an Optician Technician in the health clinic at Atsugi Naval Facility in Japan.
- Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
- It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
Our son David is a Hospital Corpsman serving as an Optician Technician in the Health Center at Atsugi Naval Air Facility in Japan. Shown below is David administering an eye exam in the You Tube video below.

I was a member of the site when it first was commissioned way back when. I was a recruiter and still a member of Recruiting Command. I currently work at RTC GREAT LAKES. So, my intital intent was to help anyone that had any questions concerning well just about anything. I would love to join the site for dads too if you send me the link.
