Hi Mary!  You are correct, I don't get on here much anymore. I do get an e-mail notice when someone sends me a message.  I'm glad you stopped by to say hello. Did you get to Hawaii in March?  I don't see any photos of you hula dancing on your page. :P  My granddaughter is 7 months old now.   My youngest son starts college on Monday.  I guess I'm just getting old. :)

Hi Mary, it's been like forever since i've been back here...it's hard to believe come october my sailor will be in for four years.  How are you?

i have a question and i hope maybe you can help me.  i got a text from my sailor last night that had me kind of feeling scared.  he is due to deploy next month...he said he needed a passport...while on deployment his contract may expire if the big navy extends his deployment...why a passport...if his contract should expire do they just make them leave the ship and fend for themselves?  this part is new to me.

baylorbear works with me.  Her daughter is in boot camp now.  Kathleen - who started the USS Blue Ridge page lived in WACO.  She showed up at work and for a month - even while Patrick was here - I couldn't figure out where I knew her from. She works with the rehab people contracted.  I finally figured it out when we were in a meeting and she said her son used to be on the blue ridge.  DUH

I'm so glad you get to go to Hawaii in March.  Okay, honestly...I am jealous as heck. :)  It's nice you will get to spend some time with Nick, in a beautiful place.  Enjoy!  I can't wait to see those pictures of you in a grass skirt and a coconut bra. lol  Adam is on shore duty.  He is working on helicopters instead of jets now.  Part of his re-enlistment states that he will be deployed at some point.  We will cross that bridge when we come to it.  I am going to try to get to California as soon as the baby is born.  Let's try to keep in touch.  I miss you!  HUGS

Hi Mary,  Yes I still stop by a couple times a week.  I mostly just read the new blogs.  My son re-enlisted and is now in San Diego.  He and his wife are expecting a baby girl in January.  She may come early though.  I plan on flying out to meet my first granddaughter soon after her birth.  How have you been?  How is Nick?  I feel so out of touch with everyone here.  The site grew too fast and I just can't keep up.  Heck, when we joined there were only a few of us. :)
