I am married and the mother of two daughters and one son. I work for a Doctor's office, and my husband and I are very proud of our children. They are the best, and we love them very much and support and respect their decisions in life. We live in Billings, MT, "The Heart of the Big Sky Country".

Can't stop grieving, but keep on believing!

It's almost two weeks since Corey left. Still can picture that plane taking off. The sadness is overwhelming me at times, but I have a great support group at Navy for Moms and from my friends and family here at home. Thank you all. We've got a letter and a couple phone calls. My son just left for Boot Camp

My son Corey got his call from the recruiter the day after he turned 18 that his job as a construction builder was open and he would be leaving for Boot Camp in one week. My heart is broken because I will miss him so much, but I am so happy and proud of him, just sad for me. He just graduated from High School on May 31st. turned 18 on June 2nd, and now he's gone. Hi Mary. I do not think that I will have too much anxiety when my daughter leaves because I plan on going out there to see her graduate, but once I come home and I know that she is not coming home, it will probably hit me. Right now she is in Korea until the end of July. She has been there since May 15th visiting her boyfriend who is in the Army. I think this is scaring me more than joining the Navy because of whats happening in North Korea. I will check every day on Navy for Moms if you would like to talk. I welcome the thoughts and messages because I have no one else to talk too regarding my daughter and the Navy. Thank you for contacting me.

We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.

Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!
