About me:
I am a cosmetologist in Taos NM, but I also work at Scheid Motor Co., a Dodge dealership. My husband, Vince, our son Luc, and my parents and sisters are a huge support now that my first child is away from home for the first time without a relative nearby!
I am here to support or represent my:
Isaac
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
How mature my son is. He is a young man with good ideas AND ideals and he is making smart choices.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made

Thanx for all the prayers and support. Oh, the power of God: there is nothing wrong w/Isaac's sinus. It was just a minor thing caused by a previous break. Now he's waiting on his med. abstract and his orders so he can leave to Pennsacola for A school. Too bad he wasn't approved for leave @ this time, but hopefully soon. How bout you guys?

I just read your post in the "Catholic Moms" group about your son being on held because of a medical condition. How is he doing?

Let God Heal Issac from this Sinus problem and allow him to serve his country in a wonderful way. I pray that all goes well. My son PIR on 7/3/08 and is now in San Antonio TX for A school. He failed a test and that set him back a week. But Thursday he will try gain and I pray he makes it this time.

I read something about letting Lin know about Navy Lodge, so she changed her resevations to another place. What is this about, cuz I have reservations @ Navy Lodge. Please help.

Hi, all. Isaac is actually on hold cuz of something going on about his sinus'. He will graduate on 7/25, but won't leave Great Lakes until after he has a CT scan, so we're not sure about A school, yet. Thanx for the communication, it helps so much. I was kinda disappointed when he wrote, i got the letter Thurs, but I spoke w/him on Sat and his voice is so happy. Yes, my son goes to Mass on Sundays, so he must know John, Alice's son. He says he has made so many new friends and feels comfortable with these boys, as if he's known them for years. That is such a comfort.

Hi Isaac's mom. My son Dom is in yours son's division too. What school is Isaac going to after graduation? Hard to believe it is in less than 2 weeks.

Has Isaac gone to Mass at boot camp? If so, he has to know John. John's job for the Division is Chaplain's Assistant. He has been helping the Deacon during boot camp. So, I know he has been at mass each Sunday!

I am sure our sons know each other. There is one other family that we have connected with in the same division as Isaac and John. Dom is in their division, too. We also get in late to Waukegan. We are staying at the Residence Inn. We fly in late from CA since the time difference and in flight is longer. I saw the Meet/Greet, but won't be able to meet Chris and others due to our late arrival. We are staying thru Sunday and leaving for CA on Monday, 7/28.
