About me:
I'm a proud Navy mom in a non-military town. My mom was a Marine in WWII and my dad was a Sailor. My daughter is a machinest mate on the USS Ronald Reagan. Hoo Yah!! I volunteer at the local VA hospital and support military charities, especially the USO.

Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
That the young people in this country who sign up for the military are selfless in their desire to serve their country. I am forever proud of them. My daughter is one.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

My boyfriend ended up getting 30 day of restriction. He was suppose to come home the day after homecoming, but that won't be happening now. I'm pretty sad, but thank you for responding and for being so nice.

Thanks so much! That really does help me feel a lot better. He heard he was either going to get 45 days of restriction or just a warning. I hope that the same thing happens to my boyfriend as your daughter. Thank you again for letting me know what her situation was.
