Profile Information

About me:
Stephen and I started dating in August of 2007 so it has been two years since we have been together. He left for boot camp on August 21 2008 and graduated basic on October 17 at Great Lakes, IL. He was in DIV 393 and they were second out of all twelve divisions. He graduated A-school on December 12th, was first in his class, and got an on the spot promotion. He is a Culinary Specialist Seaman Apprentice in VA Beach at the Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base. His first deployment is scheduled for the beginning of 2010 for about 8 months and we are both very nervous. We are now engaged and planning the wedding for October of next year. We couldn't be happier.

Good Evening :) Its been a nice weather degree here, about 70's but w/a nice breeze :)
Yea im not sure about the ship being late? Haven't heard nemore about it, so who knows. lol
HEY! Hurry up and get married already girl! lol i kno, its tough! it totally worth seeing them everyday as much as possible that you can :) Glad to hear you're BOTH excited about planning the wedding, thats REAL love ;) hehe :)
Still no fone call since wed. but being home has helped kinda keep me busy :)

I heard kyles ship is going to be late? I havent heard from him since Wed. so No, they must be in totally different schedules, did he say why they came back early?

2months between is MORE than enough! lol Beautiful colors lil miss :) The church is called London Bridge Baptist. This church is pretty big too, but theres not a crowd, and they have 2 services. Surprise!? Yaya!
When kyle says he has a surprise, sometimes its not as big as he makes it! lol. So i try not to get TOO excited til i find out what it is! haha
I am enjoying the family time, and the weather, its been warmer, but got cold last night w/ some rain that came in, and its SUPER windy! Like VA! haha so im stayin inside too, im feeling sick, like fluish symptoms, so im thinking its b/c of the weather change.

Glad you're gettin the emails, its always a difference :) hehe Wow, thats kinda 'odd' :/ so what colors are you thinking? We have found a church its in VA beach and i LOVE it :) The Music is great too :) But i wont be back for another few wks since im in FL til Kyle gets back, having family time! lol

That's so exciting! I'm so excited for you! I haven't seen Alex since he came home because he's stationed in CA and I live in VA, so that's really hard. But how are you!? Where's your sailor at?

Yea, they can get emails, but they have military email address, like for their ship. Stephen would have to find out, but normally they will give it to him, unless they forget? lol I didnt get my first email right away, hes prob just gettin into the swing of things. So do you know how long he's gonna be out there? was it 3 wks too? Oh, yea dont want 'same' wedding dates? do ya? Im feeling alright, this weather has me in a small fuNk tho :) lol

Okay, good :) haha Like i said, i try to be helpful, and not one to say 'this is what you need to do'. Thats the worse attitude to have! lol. Yea it was stressful, but God was in control. Sometimes its hard to remember that at certain times :/ Well he could 'save' his leave, i guess. He could get that checked out, b/c they may just tack on some days and let him have some extra time :) haha Its kinda lame how the Navy doesnt even know when they'll come back sometimes til possible last minute. And RUMORS will fly hun! Hate the rumors! lol Just gotta pick and choose what to believe. Maybe you and Stephen can start a little 'code language' for certain things thru emails and such. for When he'd be back or little things for like where about they are at. Imma prob. start that soon :) lol
I had to go to the ER again last night. The baby's 'fine' supposedly. But i was having bad pains/cramps/bleeding this time! So of course i was freaking out! But i have [A - ] blood so i had to get a shot in my tummy. We were there like 9-4this morning! Sucks so bad. But Keeping the Faith :)

awh! Well I know the frustration, w/ my wedding; Kyle left Jan. 6th-Jan 28th i think it was. But he went ahead and put in the leave chit before they had left. So during this WHOLE time we made ALL arrangements and even put money down and what not for the places for ceremony/reception. My parents were stressing! So Jan. 15th cane along and Kyle called me at sea saying "i got approved". haha So DEF. a big thing for you both to decide on :) lol
When they get back from deployment they do have a leave that they can take [like holidays] Kyle got the '1st' leave so it was about a week or a few days over :) Just a thought [depending on if they come home early Sept] Give them at least a few weeks [3-4] Just to play it safe incase they get an extension :/
Hope you dont take all this is as a 'know it all' lol Just some things to think about/of cause i know i wouldnt wanna have any issues w/ the BIG DAY :) haha
If you havent tried 'this approach' w/ helping Stephen pick a date how about telling him "most places need a 'month' PREFERABLY a date for arrangements and such :) lol So thats what i think about when i told Kyle haha :) Best of Luck :)

im doing good,..and how are u?....AND YAY!!!! lol :) but if i could go back and do over everything...i would probely wait?..could ahve had the spring wedding i wanted etc...but a deployment is a lot different than 2 months of bootcamp lol...
