- TO LET HIM BE HIMSELF AND A PROUD YOUNG MAN. I will learn more as time goes by. I am so very PROUD of DJ!!! He has changed in ways that I would never imagine. He has really grown up in a very short period of time. I must say that I AM A PROUD US NAVY MOM!!!!!
- Through this Navy experience, I now believe:

THAT FIRST BOX
Just letting everyone know that I received DJ's box yesterday, dirty clothes and all. I cried like a baby!!!!! It had what few things he took with him and his cell phone. It also had a bunch of paperwork in it and lots of information about his Division. So for you Mom's who Sailors left on 2-11-09, you should receive your box any day now, SO BE LOOKING OUT FOR IT!!!!! I HOPE TO SEE ALL OF YOU AT PIR!!!!!!!

Bootcamp
My son DJ is leaving for boot camp on February 11, 2009. How do I prepare myself for it? It all happened so quickly and I was not expecting him to leave this soon. I am trying to be strong for myself and for him, but I know I am going to cry my eyes out. I am so use to having him around and now he is going to be gone. - Hey!!! Its been along time!! How are you doing? Shawn finished his A-school he is home for his 14 weeks then he goes to VA! We will be setting a wedding date soon :) I talked to Leslie alil bit a couple weeks ago she told me what happened. But i am glad they got back together. Is DJ enjoying himself with it?
